Eddie Bauer® 4D Battery Built In Pump Bed - Double Review

Actually bought a full size at Target. Don't be fooled by the Eddie Bauer name.After about 3 1/2 months of use the bed would not hold any air. Called Eddie Bauer to see what they could do.Come to find out, Target only BORROWED the Eddie Bauer name, so item is not made by Eddie Bauer company at all, so you cannot get problem resolved by Eddie Bauer.Called Target to see what I could do because refund date had expired. Gave me the manufacturer which was not Eddie Bauer. Bottom line, I got the run around.Ended up wasting my $60.Do yourself a favor and get an Aero bed.

Intex Classic Downy Queen Airbed Review

As one reviewer wrote, if you put 3" of foam padding on this mattress you can have a mattress that exceptionally comfortable. I have tried at least 4 air mattresses in the last 2 months and I found only this kind with the vertical beams are stable, comfortable and motionless like a coil mattress. And provide the firm comfort and stability that I need. I am guessing this mattress is just the same as the Intex that come with a pump and another comes with so called camping pillows. I had a similar build air mattress I bought from a store with the verical baffles close together and it lasted me 18 months before finally losing a seam. If this works well and continues to hold air well I will order at least one more to store away.

Coleman Double-Sized Quickbed with 4D Pump and Wrap 'N' Roll Storage Review

We've had 4 - count them - 4 Aerobeds and every single one of them went flat after only a few uses.(The people at Bed, Bath and Beyond got tired of us returning them.) Thus, I went on the hunt for another brand.Having camped since - oh - the age of 1, and seeing the plethura of Coleman products my parents used (tent, sleeping bags, stove, icechest, water jugs, etc.) it was no surprise that this air bed was exceptional.(Too bad the didn't have these in the 60's and 70's!)

We had the first one of these beds for several years. The ONLY reason it went flat is because my sister-in-law left it uncovered and one of our 6 cats poked a hole in it.(Gee: what a surprise!)We bought another one and it's just as great as the first one.

I will never buy anything but this brand.It's cheaper than an AeroBed and better quality.

Intex Classic Downy Queen Airbed with 2 Pillows and Double Quick Hand Pump Review

I bought this product and Coleman's. Coleman's is better in my opinion; it has much better pattern, which allows one to sleep better, and user friendly system of letting the air out. It took me 1 minute to let the air out of Coleman, and 20 minutes of hard work to get it out of this. They are both somewhat uncomfortable, but this one a lot more so due to highly anti ergonomic pattern. The positive side of it is a better air pump.

Intex Queen Prestige Downy Airbed with Hand Held Battery Pump Review

I bought a pair of these mattresses at the last minute on price alone because we needed a pair of twins in a hurry.They held their air through four full days/nights of camping by two teenage boys.They boys like to flop down and bounce around - goofing off as kids do.
We used standard twin sheets which stayed tucked in.The mattresses did not get cold in the night (the flocking helps) and never lost a bit of air. They were very quick to inflate, quick to deflate, and easy to roll up to pack for the next trip.Winners... who knew?Now YOU do.

Update.The review above was written during the summer.The mattresses were since stored in a covered tub in our hot Florida attic for many months until being pulled out for a Thanksgiving camping trip.Once again these mattresses held up to the teenager test.They were just as supple and fresh as the first day out of the box.I'm really happy with these and plan to use them again in another few months.
