Sevylor® Foam Comfortop™ Queen Airbed Review

This is without a doubt one of the highest quality inflatable mattresses on the market. All inflatables suffer from two inherent problems, air expands and contracts and PVC stretches. Sevylor uses the heaviest gauge material of any manufacturer on the market, so stretching isn't as problematic as with thinner vinyls. The only way to avoid expansion and contraction would be to fill the mattress with nitrogen instead of air. That could be rather cost prohibitive. All in all, if you're looking for a reliable portable sleep solution, you can't go wrong with Sevylor.

Therm-a-Rest ProLite 4 Self Inflating Mattress Review

I used this mat once now, I find it very narrow and I am not a big person.I love the color and it did not slide around like other mats I've had but because it was so narrow I found myself off of the mat a lot throughout the night.I have a larger map that I will continue to use for car camping but plan to use this mat for backpacking (very light and compact).

Therm-a-Rest Wrap-it-Pillow 20 Review

THIS WRAP IS GOOD FOR PROTECTING YOUR PAD ON THE TRAIL OR IN ROUTE TO. THE PACKING AREA IS FUNCTIONAL BUT TERRIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE NO MATTER WHAT YOU STUFF IN THERE.YOU ARE BETTER OFF NOT HAVING A PILLOW. OR USING STUFFING MATERIAL OUTSIDE WRAP.I HOODY FITS GREAT BUT IS MORE COMFORTABLE JUST ROLLED UP OUTSIDE THE WRAP. THE WRAP KEEPS IT TOO TIGHT LIKE YOU ARE SLEEPING ON A BRICK. WORTH THE MONEY JUST HAVING SOMETHING TO PROTECT AND CONTAIN PAD THOUGH.

Aerobed One Touch Comfort Elevated Twin Size Raised Airbed - Green/ White Review

I ordered two of these because we have family that visits us a couple of times a year, and we wanted something that stored well. In shopping for these, I read a lot of reviews, and determined that, as long as my delivered bed didn't have some sort of factory defect or shipping damage that caused it to lose air the first night, most people were happy with the Aero brand. I absolutely concur.

My beds did not have any leaks. One of my family members weighs about 250 lbs, and while he did need to add a little bit of air in the morning, it otherwise was very comfortable. (The published weight limit on these, which I couldn't find anywhere until I got the box, is 350 lbs.) It takes all of three minutes to inflate or deflate, holds a regular set of twin bedding, and rolls up to a size of about 14 inches long, 10 inches wide and about 7 inches thick. It also comes with a storage duffle bag, although it feels thin enough that I would worry about the seams on it after a little while.

Overall, this bed was wonderful. I plan on ordering a third for a family gathering we have later this year.

AeroBed Extreme Ultra Light Self-Inflating Camp Mat Review

AeroBed makes a wonderful beach mat. We use it regularly in Florida in winter: it is great because it keeps us from sitting or lying on the cold sand. Best of all, it does not attract sand and can be easily shaken clean.

As a beach or camp mat, it needs to be about 3 or 4 inches wider. Arms and legs tend to flop over the edges. The carrying case also needs to have a larger diameter. It is a chore to roll the mat up tighly enough to fit!

In all, this is a high quality, durable product. We love it.

Intex Super Tough Laminated Supreme Airbed Kit Twin, with 120 Volt Rechargeable Pump Review

I've been sleeping on the Intex airbed for a month now and would guess that I'll need to add a little makeup air perhaps 4 times a year, so it's pretty airtight. We got this originally for temporary use in the basement, but I'm disabled with a bad back and it's made a huge difference to my pain and ability to function. I've pitched out my (orthopedic) mattress and plan to use this exclusively.

From what I can see of the construction, I expect long service despite continuous use. Intex claims the fabric and beam construction are unique. That's true but but doesn't prepare one for the difference it makes versus alternatives and details like the neatness and quality of the heat welded seams - attributable to the fabric and suggesting that the hidden details are equally well made. It's unnervingly light too. The construction gives excellent stability, which has allowed me to walk on it with my 190 lbs without touching the floor or losing balance. That's definitely a no no with other air mattresses. Pump and inflation are simple. The only negative is that the upper surface is not flocked and so is slick enough for sheets to slide about. We had a mattress cover which solved the problem but a camper might want something like a roll of thin foam.

Constructed from a unique, incredibly strong but lightweight vinyl fabric, this bed is equipped to handle the rigors of camping in any environment. Feel safe sleeping the whole night through on any surface! With its patented combination, I-beam and pillar construction, it provides excellent sleeping comfort and support, along with un-matched durability and strength. Quality tested 18.4 gauge vinyl top, sides, and bottom with 15 gauge and 29 gauge pillar beams. Made of special Super-Tough laminated vinyl for extra durability. Hand-held, 110-120 volt rechargeable pump is easy-to use and inflates in 1 to 2 minutes. 3-in-1 valve makes filling and deflating a snap. Mattress measures 10" thick for extra support, and the mattresses are conventional sizes for more sleeping area and a better fit for sheets.
