Coleman Rechargeable QuickPump Air Pump with Hose Review

Coleman Rechargeable QuickPump Air Pump with HoseColeman's Quickpump is a handy device for those who own inflatable rafts, large flotation devices, air mattresses and other object s that require too much air to inflate manually. This air pump quickly fills up any inflatable object, saving you the huffing and puffing necessary to inflate the old fashioned way.

One of the many nice things about this pump is the fact that it is electric. Many air pumps- like those that are often included when purchasing an air mattress- are battery powered. This means that the batteries could fail at some point when you need the pump most, delaying your attempt to inflate your favorite flotation device. With Quickpump, you get electric, rechargeable energy. You just plug the pump into a socket, using the detachable cord, let it charge, and then take it directly to the item that needs to be inflated.

Coleman includes some different attachments for use on different valves (like a wider attachment for Boston valves) and it also includes a hose at the end for added convenience. With this hose, you can stand back, hold the base of the unit a short distance away, and direct the flow of air into the valve. This makes the use of the pump more comfortable.

This pump does have a few limitations. It will not work on objects that require a needle tip (like a basketball) or similar inflationary requirement. There are no adaptors for this, so you will not be able to use Quickpump. Also, keep in mind that this pump is a little on the noisy side. For something so compact (it weighs only about 4 pounds) it really makes a lot of noise.

Overall, this is a good pump to own for those who have large inflatable items that cannot be inflated by hand. The pump recharges quickly and efficiently, providing a constant, steady flow of air without the worry of having batteries fail. It makes a nice choice of gift for campers and others who need a solid, reliable air pump that they can count on.

Intex High Output Hand Pump Review

Intex High Output Hand PumpThe pump itself is a pretty basic thing. The hose is decent enough to do the job.But what I did not like about this pump was the amount of time and energy it took to pump up a full sized air mattress. My son is 9 years old and has more energy than most kids. This puppy wore him out!Maybe I should have given the product another star for that.If you want a basic pump for a few weekend trips a year this is a functionally cheap pump.If you need this for a 3 week trek in Norway as I did, splurge for the battery powered models.

Texsport Rechargable Electric Pump Review

Texsport Rechargable Electric PumpAfter using a hand pump for two years, this product was a welcomed change. We bought it and needed to use it immediately for some guests we had. The disappointment was, it has to be charged. It doesn't work by just plugging it in. You have to charge it over night which for us, was too late. When we finally had it charged it worked great, so quickly. As long as you remember to charge it the day before (ish), you'll be pleased.

Coleman High Performance Rechargeable Pump - Red/ Grey Review

Coleman High Performance Rechargeable Pump - Red/ GreyI bought this rechargeable pump for use with an inflatable boat.I was initially looking for the earlier model of the Coleman Rechargeable Quick Pump, but could not find it in my local Target store. It is about 3 dollars more and is slightly larger.

Took it on a 3 day boating trip, having to inflate a 14 foot boat(With NARU valvles) 4 times. Now the adapters did not fit the valves (too small), but sufficiently inflated the boat by placing the pump directly in the valve. It inflated fast considering the size of the boat.

Each time the pump stayed on for about 5 minutes.Since then I've used it 2 more times(6 total) without recharging (which is about 30-40 minutes of total battery use) and surprisingly there's no faintness in the power of the air pump.

It's a little loud, but compared to a friend's Coleman Pump I mentioned above, it is noticeably quieter. It also has a little storage bay on the back of the pump to put the nozzle heads, which is nice, but it is slightly loose so be careful not to lose them. This is definitely a handy pump to have that would work on all sorts of inflatable items.Overall i'm very happy with this pump.

UPDATE:The charger lasted even longer than I mentioned, and finally died after 9 uses over the span of a month. That's approximately 45-55 minutes of the pump turned on before discharging.

Intex 12 Volt D/C Electric Pump Review

Intex 12 Volt D/C Electric PumpThe plastic nozzle did not hold on the pump outlet, was falling off. I taped it to the pump with duct tape. Then it was functional, but could inflate my inflatable mattress only half-way. To inflate it completely, I had to use my manual pump. I returned the product to Amazon for full refund, including my return shipping.

Coleman DC 12 Volt Inflate-All Pump Review

Coleman DC 12 Volt Inflate-All PumpI am 48 and have a bad back. My daughter lives in another state so she can not help me.My husband had a stroke in `89 & is paralyzed on one side...so he can not help me.Ok, I can not use the air pumps at stations as they are very heavy, to heavy for me and I can not lean over for long that far.I have tried cheap air pumps, they don't work for me. I even bought one for $79 and it is good but you have to hold it on the tire air stem and when I tried it, I lost ALL the air in my tire. lol I could not keep a good seal.
(and that one took me over 10 min's and over 20 min's for my daughter to refill the tire....she was home for the weekend.)
I need to be able to do this myself , no problems, when I need it.
I tried this today (got it yesterday) and it worked GREAT!!!)
First, the hose you use to attach to the tire stem is just the right size and screws on for a GREAT fit and seal!
Next, it sits on the ground, a must for me, I can not lean over any longer then it takes to attach it.
It also has a gage on it that helps. When it says 40, my tire pressure is about 33 (it needs to be 30) so I need to learn what is what, it goes 20-40 and when putting the air in..turn it off and it goes to right mark, it reads a tad high.
But easy to learn what the right mark is from using it. Everything but the big hose you use for air matterss, etc. is stored inside and attached. I love it.
Also, I have a ford taurus wagon and the air stem angles a bit to the side, even my daughter had problems (no problems with her Aztec as the stem is straight out) but with this hose, doesn't matter what the angle of the stem is, it works fine and is VERY easy to attach and use.
If you have any problems, as I have, this worksgreat and worth every penney. Oh, it took me under 12 min's to do 2 tires! (including attaching and unattaching each tire.)
I hope this helps some.

Texsport Double Action Pump Review

Texsport Double Action PumpI bought this new Texsport pump to replace a "DoubleQuick II" that split down the middle that had lasted only as long as the airbed I used it on. Compared to the DoubleQuick, the Texsport is massive and much more robust in construction. Judging by size, the Texsport may pump slightly more air volume per stroke. The only advantage the lighter DoubleQuick would have is to fit in a backpack and weigh less than the Texsport. For home or RV I would choose the Texsport.

This pump has two hose connections, air out and air in. Air in for deflating every last bit of air, making it useful as a decent manual vacuum pump.

The only downside is that on my unit, on the down-stroke the internal valve does not reverse until half way down, thus giving 1 and 1/2 air pumps per push-pull cycle.
